MW3 Developers Say Game is Going to be Easier to Update than Previous Call of Duty Titles
From SFX-360:
Infinity Ward (the developer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3) announced that there would be an easier way to update the multiplayer sections of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 unlike previous releases.
Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling said, “ How we’ve built this current game as opposed to in the past is we’ve made it a lot easier on the backend to update the other aspects of the game beyond just the map packs. So now, as we’re advancing content and releasing new maps on multiplayer, we can also further tweak them to also be playable in spec Ops. We also looked at how to update the game further in other ways like new modes, weapon – whatever we want to do. So we’ve done a lot of work in the backend that allows us to update more easily and quickly. It would be in such a way that’s helpful for DLC but also helpful for post-launch support: listening to feedback. Maybe there’s stuff we want to rebalance. Maybe there’s stuff we want to patch. We have a lot more control in tweaking the game now, outside of a patch, than we ever did before.”

Sony to Launch Playstation 4 in 2012
From BGR:
"Sony’s manufacturing partners will begin building the consumer electronics giant’s next-generation video game console toward the end of this year, with a launch scheduled for 2012, DigiTimes reports. Details surrounding Sony’s PlayStation 4 are very limited for the time being, but the report states that the new console will feature integrated movement-based controls similar to the Microsoft Kinect controller. Foxconn and Pegatron, the two manufacturing firms charged with assembling Sony’s PlayStation 3, will build the new console according to DigiTimes’ sources. 2012 shipment volume for the PS4 is said to be at least 20 million units."
Just a note Sony has sold 51 million PS3s.

Infintiy Ward's Robert Bowling says buy both MW3 and BF3
From the Examiner.com website:
Bowling is showing great respect for the development team at Dice and Battlefield 3. With each title competing against each other this fall for the FPS genre crown, things will get interesting, but each title will be catering to their own type of audience. Battlefield 3 has been described as a ‘documentary’ by Kojima; meanwhile Call of Duty is an ‘action movie’.

Introducing the Call Of Duty Endowment (C.O.D.E.)
From the C.O.D.E. website;
"In addition to trying to find jobs for veterans, we’re committed to honoring our service members and we want to help keep their spirits high when they return home from action. With that in mind, we were thrilled to support a recent event driven by the USO of Metropolitan Washington, which was a unique way for service members to get together and show off their skills playing Activision’s Call of Duty®: Black Ops!"
Support this. Good job Activision.

Sony Being Sued Over PSN Breach
It looks like Sony, in addition to losing millions of dollars during the PSN outage, is about to be hit with a major class action lawsuit. I just read an article over at aggregame written by Mat Houchens that discusses the class action lawsuit:
The case in U.S. District Court, Southern District of California is Felix Cortorreal, Jacques Daoud Jr. and Jimmy Cortorreal, on Behalf of Themselves and All Others Similarly Situated v. Sony Corporation Inc. et al, 11-1369.
This could get uglier for Sony, but how bad do you think it will hurt them? Also how do you feel about this action in general taking in to consideration that it is a free service?
